The Inevitable Decision
Acts 27:1-12
The PATH through the crisis is often more describable than the PEACE that follows it.
Storms are worst when they
- Increse our doubts
- Remind us of our failures
- Bury us with demands
The "inevitable decision" is one over which I have no control.
I can't
- Control the circumstances (vs 1-7)
- Change the facts (vs 9)
- Convince with an opinion (vs 10-11)
My best response is to
- Hang onto wholesome relationships (vs 3)
- Accept kindness from others (vs 3)
- Believe Jesus knows how I feel (Hebrews 4:15-16)
- Speak the truth in love (vs 10)
- Brace for difficulty (vs 11)
